I've been doing fake Criterion covers for a bit, but I'm inspired by theryaney's Fake Criterion thread and I decided to post some of my own.

I've currently been creating new covers for all the Bond films. For the first 20 films, I own the Ultimate Edition Collection, and all the covers are boring. So, I've slowly been making new covers for them, one's I personally will enjoy looking at.

Here are the one's I currently made. From the original 20 films:

I did have the first five films, but I needed to redo the first four, cause I found a better format to make the covers and I lost all the images due to hard drive problems. And I want to redo my You Only Live Twice cover, cause I think it sucked.

I then skipped over to the Daniel Craig reboot series:

The last one I made, I made as a joke:

I also have this, A Star Wars cover I made for my 2-disc copy of the film with Episode IV and the original theatrical version. It also includes the Bonus Material disc from the trilogy boxset and the Revisited fanedit, though I may change it to the Despecialized Edition instead.

Nice. :)

I really like the Skyfall and Star Wars ones.

For the 1967 Casino Royale, the surroundings of the 3 titles on the cover all have visible light grey rectangles around them.

Thanks!  :D

I'll also check out the Casino Royale 67 cover again.

I think you should try raising the contrast on the title just a little bit. I also experienced some problems with colour in my first few covers. :)

Umm...you do know your RotJ cover has toys on it, right? :p

I really like your Empire cover.

Yeah... I knew it was toys...  :p

it was a neat wallpaper pic tho. And it does seem kind of tongue-in-cheek to do something like that. I even made a early fake cover for Thunderball using a Connery toy, so I am used to the idea and think its a fun concept, and helps establish the cover as a fake one.

If I find a better wallpaper pick for RotJ, I may consider redoing.

Thanks.

Did you purposefully edit out all the content from the now empty post?

There's an empty post? I don't see one. Can you elaborate for me, please?

Well, the post isn't empty for me and if it is empty for you, then I didn't edit it.

Weird.

^It's not empty for me either.

Great looking covers btw, pranafilms! I would suggest removing the barcodes though.

i think the Quantum cover would look better, if the same overall color was on the front and back
two different shades of blue,
just maybe more cohesive look across the board

Hmm, it's displaying on my phone. Looks like it's a computer/cache issue on my end. My apologies.

And I will be remaking my Return of the Jedi cover. I just need some new inspiration.
