Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone who has the experience, would be kind enough to run some video files for an edit, through the "anti-ghosting" process, as mentioned in this thread:

Overlapping frames / ghosting issues

Between all the cuts in the film for the middle hour or so I get a ghosting, where the last shot and the next shot are both on screen for one frame, causing a nasty flash when you watch the film. Is this a form of interlacing? Here's a screenshot of it: http://www.pulapartment.co.uk/Image2.jpg...

Could you please post a short clip showing us what you are encountering, please?
 
I've had a play around, and I think if I export as a basic VOB or MPG file it should be fine without any artifacts.

The source is SD DVD so I don't need to use handbrake or anything.

It doesn't seem to be on the same problematic level as the DW DVDs.

It only occurs if I re-encode as MP4 or AVI.

I'll keep my eye on it as I progress though.
