Non-Linear Video Editing on Windows Vista?

I would like to edit a movie, and I used DVD Decrypter to rip the movie into individual cells so I can piece it together the way I want to. However, DVDLab Pro 2 does not support putting multiple clips into one movie object. There is a multiple PGC feature, but I would like the cells put into one PGC. ;) So, I need a non-linear video editor that that can handle the .m2v and .ac3 files, so I can edit it all together inton one .m2v and one /ac3 file so I can import that into DVDLab Pro and chapter it the way I wish.

I Tried Ulead MediaStudio but it errored out. I forget the error, but it just didn't seem too Vista friendly. So, is there a good one that I can get?

Thanks

try PGCDemux. Filters audio and video easiyl from your vobs.

That only demuxes though. I have the demuxed files, I just need to edit the video and audio and place it in the order that I need to output one large video file and audio file.

sounds like "womble" then.

This looks promising. There are free trials on the site, but which one should I get to try? I have .m2v and .ac3 files. I do not wish to make a DVD with this program, just arrange all the parts I have the way I want and to trim some scenes, so will the regular MPEG version support ac3 files? Or do I need to get the DVD Version to ouput a ac3 file?

Thanks for all your help so far. I hope you can bare with me a bit more. :$
