I think it's just a random compilation.

To be honest, I didn't even know it was a series. (or if I did, I figured it was maybe a series of 2 or 3 videotapes) That old tape is all I've ever seen of it, so I was happy to see this at Preserv. :)

Maybe if you send me a Macrovision blocker. Would look terrible otherwise. :p (or the screen would be blank...can't remember)

I should get a video stabilizer someday anyway. (Or see if I can get it to work without one somehow...) There are things I have that I can't see ever being released on DVD, like my old Shawn Kemp basketball tape.

Here's one from a place in Ontario, so that would be handy: http://store.qkits.com/moreinfo.cfm/VM106

Running time says that it's only 30 minutes so it looks like it's just a compilation. I can't imagine there being any copy protection on a tape from HGV though. Have you given it a try?

Haven't had time yet, but I will try. I should just send the tape to AvP! ;)

These are up at MySpleen now and there seems to be some confusion about where they came from. The uploader says they're an AvP production, but he doesn't know the sources. (some say YouTube rips, he says they look better than that) All I could offer is that they were originally from Preserv. *shrug*
