I just got Sony Vegas Pro 8!

Ok, it's not so much that I don't know how to keyframe, because I've learned a bit about it with flash and such and am sure I can figure it out, like with adding effects to a video and wanthing it to change over time using keyframes. However, I can't fucking find the fucking keyframes!

I see tutorials and such that show the keyframe area right below all of the details of the Video Event FX box, but with me, it isn't there. after the details of the specific video effect, there's nothing. no keyframing options. So I can't even attempt to keyframe. Does anyone know how to get it to appear?

There's a hidden bar near the bottom of the window. It's just below the window resize handle. Drag it up. Can't post screenshots right now.

Fuck it, I found it. it was literally at the bottom of the window completely hidden by the window's edge.

Thank you Ghostcut...didn't see your post when I posted mine. lol.

I'm happy, though, because I finally have a video editing software that's good, and I can't wait to eventually make some edits!
