ok almost finished with the EE of Starship Troopers. i have much bigger plans for the menu frontend this time round.

menu structure at the moment

Fanedit Splash Screen* -> little movie clip -> Main Menu -> Fanedit Marker Selection Screen -> Movie

what i cant figure out is how do i display the fanedit splash screen (FSS) for say 5 - 10 secs before it cuts to the movie clip then goes on to show the main menu.

i have added the FSS as a menu in its own right and set it to display for 10 secs.

i have added the short movie clip in as a menu in its own right and set to go to mainmenu as soon as the clip has finished.

thing is i cant test it out as everytime i 'simulate' the menu it just tells me 'i dont have any linking buttons on the menu and theres nothing for it to do'

can anyone help? i dont know enough of the terminology to be able to find anything remotely usefull in the help :(

*with thanks to brias411!!

I do that by creating an audio track with the exact length and then setting the end link of that menu to display the next menu.

sweet, guess i was pretty much on the right track!
