IFDB Review: Book of Shadows: Blair Witch 2 – a steFANedit:

The original version of Book of Shadows: Blair Witch 2 is a very flawed film and a pretty bad follow up to the original film. What steFANedit tried to do is edit the film as close as possible to what the director originally wanted for his film, and he did a pretty good job at it. Instead of a film that's all over the place with it's story is now in chronological order and is a smoother story overall. Having the interviews with the main characters can feel like a little long in the tooth instead of being spread over the movie, but i feel like it's better overall for it. Removing a chunk of Jeff being in the hospital is a good edit because sometimes more is less. The Audio and Video is really good. Frank Sinatra's Witchcraft is a little too loud at the start, but not so bad i can't hear what they're saying. Overall, this is a great edit and is an improvement to the source material.
