What you want is there. You can also send a message to the editor. If that doesn't work THEN post in the Trade & Request forum. Anywhere else and it will be deleted and an infraction will be issued.

Hello, my name is Adam and I can't express how grateful I am to have found this group.

I was initially Googling the concept last week of a Kirkless version of "Star Trek:Generations." Thats what led me here. I've spent much of the past week downloading, learning about JDownloader and various other programs, as well as just marvelling at how you folks here do this.

I remember in a commentary once John Carpenter said, "You can't polish a turd." In this case, it's been proven wrong. I have seen some amazing fan edits. Edits that have energized and excited me about films that, in their theatrical state, sit mostly unwatched on my shelf.

So thank you, all of you, for taking the time to do what people in Hollywood use to do. Use cinema to tell a story.

Welcome, Adam. :)

...And I love John Carpenter, but the man doesn't know anything about what constitutes a turd (witness Ghosts of Mars) let alone whether or not you can polish one. ;)
