So what exactly are you doing and what do you have?

Beacuse you'll need;
DVD burner
Blank DVD
DVD player with RCA output
VCR with RCA input
Blank VHS
RCA to USB connector

When you have all that you can get started.

1. Burn the wanted media onto a blank DVD, make sure your DVD player is able to read it
2. Plug the DVD player into the back of the VCR player
3. Tune your VCR so that it shows the DVD player
4. Put a blank VHS into the VCR
5. Play your DVD and record onto the VHS tape
6. When done, stop the recording
7. Playback the output just to be sure that it's all fine and dandy
8. Plug the VCR into your PC using the RCA to USB
9. Record the output to your PC
10. Done.

Any questions about the process?
