Does anyone know how I would take a director's commentary from one DVD and sync it up with an extended edition of the same movie on a different DVD?

Am I making any sense?

if i were going to do that... i'd put it in the timeline with a full version of the film.... then i'd cut up the commentary track and realign the parts of it that need it.... with simply gaps in between... and then re-render the entire commentary track as one file, that will of course be the same length as the film. just a thought.
