Hello, so following up my Heavy Star Wars Episode III mix, I figured I better finish what I started! So I went back to Episode I, and the main goal was to try to keep the same tone of editing and music, and most importantly, keeping the intro consistent.
But what makes my fanmix "Heavy" is that I replaced the original sound track to Rock Music when there are fight scenes or battles, creating various music video type of segments, along with the editing.
I also color corrected the movie to get rid of the warm feel and more contrast, and the colors pop out a lot more! See for yourself and do a comparison!
The challenge was that this was my least favorite of the prequels, and I managed to chop down the movie to 1:20 minutes from beginning to end credits. The Pod Race and the last fight scenes were probably the most enjoyable to edit, with Anakin's story and build up being stressful in that I wasn't sure if this fan edit was going to work at all! By the time I was half way through I got my second wind!
I am not an audio specialist, but I have educated myself in learning how to use the mixer in Adobe Premiere a lot better, and I have done my best to not make any jarring or noticeable edits. Now to editing Episode II !!!
Track list:
Sammy Hagar - Heavy Metal
Where Itâs At - Beck
Anybody There - Rainbow
Sharp Dressed Man - ZZ Top
One Fine Day - The Offspring

Highway Star - Deep Purple
Paranoid - Black Sabbath
Tatsunoko Productions Co. - Battle Of The Planets
Cheap Trick - I Must be Dreaminâ
Detroit Rock City - KISS
Psycho Killer - Talking Heads
House of the Rising Sun - The Animals
