Has anyone recorded their own music for a fanedit

I have watched probably twenty fanedits so far, and am curious if anyone has done this yet, there has obviously been rescoring like in tmbtm's edits but has anyone recorded their own score's and/or music an used them in their edits?

That's something I thought about for a certain edit that I did not make yet, and maybe never will,
but it's sure a nice idea and should be interesting to see/hear.
I don't know about any edit like this for now.

id like to give it a go eventually. once i get my own edits past the workprint stages, it would have to be the right kind of edit tho.

I recorded some short Moog synth tracks (more so of a short cue) and them mixed them in with other crap for my Sheriff Wydell edit

if I ever do an edit where contemporary music would fit, i'd be inclined to insert a track from my band.
for robocop 2 i have been remixing/matching cues from different basil polidoris tracks in attempt to improve the urgency/quality of the score.

Right on! i love basil's scores especially the Conan the barbarian score, its probably my favorite.

That edit i really liked and wherever the new music was i really couldnt tell, it was that smooth and fitting so well done!
