The announcement broke a couple of days ago (I just found out today), but I don't see a thread about it, so I guess I might as well start one!
Harmy has announced on Facebook and YouTube that he has a new, improved version of Return of the Jedi available, based on 4K83 and the Blu-rays. He released it on May 25, the exact day of the 40th anniversary.
I could share a link to the announcements, but those announcements come with links to the video files themselves, so I don't think I can post those. Harmy's FB page and YT channel are pretty easy to find, though, and it should be smooth sailing from there.
I can never figure out how to do those .rar files, so it's unlikely I'll be able to get a hold of this, but hopefully this news will make someone's day out there!
