A very underrated flick. You should check it out, even if you've got no interest in the other sequels. (I know you've only seen the original)

Totally unrelated. Still a Carpenter/Hill production & another great Carpenter/Howarth soundtrack!
Cool story that actually relates to Halloween as a holiday, great pulp atmosphere & TOM ADKINS!
My edit removes some things that really drag the original down, with sharper editing that builds momentum.
(It's also my personal favorite of the Halloween posters I've made)
My Halloween 2018 hits the IFDb next week, signaling the end of this project.

Killing Michael-
I've augmented footage from Halloween II with elements from Halloween '18 to show Michael's demise.
The color timing has been altered to match H'18, the shelves covering Laurie are from H'18 & the additional flames are from HII.
That's 1 of 4 different shots of Michael on fire, falling & burning.
I agree that it looks silly when Dr. Sartain puts the mask on, but that's brief & I love that he's obsessed with creating a reunion between Michael & Laurie.
I think some people get hung up on the quick mask moment, without letting the revelation of what's happening (and has been happening) sink in. It's really great.

Anything from @Ray Danger is highly recommended. I've only seen a few of Ray's edits but they're all well earned PERFECT 10s across the board. He does fantastic work and anyone into these classic horror films needs to check these out.
