I have watched the original Hackers two times, once when I was a kid and once when grown up for nostalgia reasons. The movie always had a base to earn a spot in my annual or just rewatch collection. What didn't sit well with me in the original was the movie pacing and visualisation of "actual hacking" segments which were borderline epileptic and diverted your attention from the main plot in a kind of hypnotic way that I had a feeling of watching another movie. Futon88 made a faster-paced movie by just rearranging some scenes and made hacking visualisation so simple and effective that your attention isn't diverted from the movie at all, but kept in it, This edit finally made this movie timeless for me, I highly recommend it and thank you for the effort futon88.
