Hi. I'll be doing a Superman Edit soon hopefully. Cutting together I & II, with the 2nd film being based on Lester's Cut with Marlon Brando edited in, (Well that's the plan).

Anyway here's the covers I've made. All the artwork was taken from an excellent website CapedWonder.com & Jim Bower's really insistent his images aren't used for financial gain so please keep a look out on ebay etc.

I know where you're coming from. Unfortuantly I'm not skilled enough on Photoshop yet to get away with adding a text & making it look natural with the artwork.

The original movies were called Superman: The Movie & Superman II, so I've just decided to called my edit "Superman". It's bit lazy I know, but I've never been good at giving titles to movies, so I thought best to keep it simple.

But if anyones got any suggestions I'm all ears. Remember it's the 1st two movies edited together if that helps.

How about,

Superman: The Jor-El & Kal-El Edition

Or something along those lines.

I like the "Kryptonite Edition" not sure about Superman United though. I live in England you see & half the football teams here are called United. Like Manchester Utd & Dundee United. So everytime I read Superman United I get the image of 11 Supermans running around a pitch kicking a ball!!! :lol:
 
Yeah, but I am kinda getting really tired about those Jor El, Kal-El names. You stumble over them all teh time.
About the UNITED name, I thought you would think the exact same thing... ;-)

Excellent!! That settles it then. I also prefered the "The Last Son of Krypton" title & the fact you think it's unusual is even better because people won't be expecting a Superman edit to be called that.

It's a comic book reference if you're interested. I looked up alternative names for Superman at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Superman & apparently that's what he was called in the comics. So it's got some heritage.

Excellent.

Now I have to go back & update the DVD Covers. :-?
 
I've now updated the covers with the new titles. I haven't touched the display covers you can see on the forum as they're virtually the same.
