• Most new users don't bother reading our rules. Here's the one that is ignored almost immediately upon signup: DO NOT ASK FOR FANEDIT LINKS PUBLICLY. First, read the FAQ. Seriously. What you want is there. You can also send a message to the editor. If that doesn't work THEN post in the Trade & Request forum. Anywhere else and it will be deleted and an infraction will be issued.
  • If this is your first time here please read our FAQ and Rules pages. They have some useful information that will get us all off on the right foot, especially our Own the Source rule. If you do not understand any of these rules send a private message to one of our staff for further details.

F*cking bootleggers

It seems the best option is just to send a polite letter stating that it isn't legal at all to sell fan edits. As far as I can remember looking at the list, the only fan edit listed there is Hell and Horror in Haddonfield.

I contacted the seller and asked him to remove the fanedit from his list.
I checked through the rest and it seems, this is the only one.

It seems he's ignoring you and people are still buying it. The time is now: are we gonna bark all day (little doggy) or are we gonna bite?

And by "we" I mean "you"! :p

I contacted the ioffer copyright section now as well.
Let's give them a little bit of time.

so have i, hopefully this will get resolved sooner rather than later.

Fuckin' scumbag...even displays the cover art which says "NOT FOR SALE OR PROFIT" and the douchebags still pay money for it.

I find it hard to feel sorry for people that stupid...and won't even do a quick google search for this "rare" item. :-x

the item is no longer available. I also contacted all the previous buyers and told them to insist on getting their money back. I reported the item to the website and I reported the seller to an anti piracy bureau in the US.
I think he will have a lot of fun to follow.
He was not just selling a fanedit, but he was also selling COPIES of movies, no original at all.
To hell with him.

It's quite hilarious screwing someone over like that.

oh jeez... this is a hellhole.
Anway, I have asked each of them to remove the item and also contacted the buyers to ask for their money to be returned. I have reported ioffer to the anti piracy bureau.

Man, you work fast! Yesterday when I saw that fanedit for sale it made me so pissed, especially since you can get it for free from our community.

Keep fightin' the good fight!

Do a search for Halloween The Producers Cut on iOffer

There are a ton of these bastards selling that particular edit.

it seems, they have deactivated my account.
Now that's a way to handle this... great shop.

ridiculous. before I was just hoping that the site wasnt able to monitor everything and this stuff was slipping under the radar. BUT, with them deactivating your account, it looks like they are SUPPORTING this shit. we all need to start bitching about this place.

simply unber-f*cking-lievable!!

mass reporting to the copyright people methinks.
