Not Safe For Work.

Believe it or not, some people check this site out from work

yeah I don't usually think about that. You see in my old job, I wasn't allowed to go on the internet unless it was for business purposes. So I never checked out FE.com from work.

if they clicked that link (I know, I know, clicker beware) then there is an image that some bosses/coworkers might frown upon.

you are 100% correct.

Yeah, my work blocks pretty much every non-work related website - which is understandable considering lost productivity and all that.

yeah, the funny thing is, I was the only person obeyed the rule against going on the internet for nonbusiness purposes. Even my boss went on the net to conduct personal business. And look who fired!?!

Yeah, that sucks man.

There was a guy at my work who downloaded porn via doxyproxy, took 30 minute smoke breaks every hour, crashed a pneumatic lift through the wall of the AV department and called in sick every 4 days or so.

He still works there. Effing unions.

that sound like someone who used to work for my old company. His nickname wouldn't be "Buddy" would it?

LOL, nope, but I'm sure Buddy and this guy must have Poloroids of the boss in compromising positions or something.

G

no in my case, Buddy's father was best friends with the owner of the company.

if you are in a union you can do anything short of killing your boss and still keep your job. I am so glad i can post from work. Usually when i get out of work I am so sick of being behind a computer for the past 8 or 9 hours i really don't want to sit behind one again when i get home.

The union I unfortunately belong to exists to protect the stupid.

They rig elections, cook the books and advise fired staff members to develop imaginary drinking problems so that the employer has to take them back and put them in Employee Assistance programs to cure themselves of social ills and become productive members of the company again.

Oh, and they're racist.

That is the perfect design! I love the "FAN" logo, it looks nifty, and it really grabs you. (If it wern't for the Fan logo, a person might tune it out as another one of those asinine FBI/Interpol things).

One spelling nitpick, though, it should be "other's".

Q: Is this an illegal "bootleg" movie?
A: NO! The section of American copyright law known as "The Berne Act" clearly states: films unreleased in the United States, including original version of films altered and/or edited for release in the United States, are not protected by American copyright; thus, they are considered public domain. If a film should become available domestically a seller would have to immediately stop offering the title. Dimension Films have stated they have no plans any time in the near future to release this film, therefore it falls under the Public Domain Laws and we are free to offer it to you!

hahah, i've never heard of this "Berne Act" before, anyone else?

obviously got it from here!

Google gave me:

Q: Why doesn't my DVD play as soon as it is put into my DVD player?
A: Because it is a Region 0 DVD, you must press 'Menu' on your remote to access the DVD once it has been inserted into your player. From there, you can access all the features the film has to offer!
Never heard of this, and never had this problem with region 0 DVD's...

On Jun-07-07 at 14:06:59 PDT, seller added the following information:

can you believe this assmunch??? this is the answer he sent to my friendly warning:

The section of American copyright law known as "The Berne Act" clearly states: films unreleased in the United States, including original version of films altered and/or edited for release in the United States, are not protected by American copyright; thus, they are considered public domain. If a film should become available domestically a seller would have to immediately stop offering the title. Dimension Films have stated they have no plans any time in the near future to release this film, therefore it falls under the Public Domain Laws and we are free to offer it to anyone we chose. eBay US is governed by US laws, and it IS legal to sell this here. Also, where is it free??? I have NEVER seen this available for free anywhere. And, if it is available for free, then why doesn't everyone know about it? As for selling something that people can get for free, Bottled Water is available in stores all over the world, and companies make huge profits from selling it. But anyone can go to a lake, river, stream or spring and get water for free, should they choose to. There is nothing illigal about selling an item that people can get for free. Sorry but, you have no legal grounds to stand on, and furthermore, any reporting of me by you will be considered harrassment, and I will be forced to report said harrassment. I have seen many, many other seller's offering this item, and as it is legal to do so here in the US, I wish them the best of luck! I researched this item and selling it through an attorney BEFORE listing it, so I know I am protected by United States law. Maybe you should study our laws before making erronious threats. Good day.

It seems that he is protected by us law...

It is unlikely he is protected by any law beyond stupidity.

Edit: The way I read it the Berne Convention is an international standardization of copyright law. It expands copyrights not releases them to the public domain.
copyrights for creative works do not have to be asserted or declared, as they are automatically in force at creation: an author need not "register" or "apply for" a copyright in countries adhering to the Berne Convention

Btw, is anyone familiar with a site: http://www.SuperHappyFun.com ?

I found something there I was considering doing a project on (VHS2DVD) but for $13 I'd rather save my time if their stuff doesn't suck.
