Most new users don't bother reading our rules. Here's the one that is ignored almost immediately upon signup: DO NOT ASK FOR FANEDIT LINKS PUBLICLY. First, read the FAQ. Seriously. What you want is there. You can also send a message to the editor. If that doesn't work THEN post in the Trade & Request forum. Anywhere else and it will be deleted and an infraction will be issued.

Explorers is a movie I originally saw in theaters back in 1985. I loved the movie...up until we meet the aliens. Then the whole thing went to crap. Through the years, I've had a love-hate relationship with this film. I really enjoy the beginning and middle, and I wish there was something "better" in the third act. I recommend this fanedit as it tightens up the third act considerably while preserving the original storyline as delivered. The only way this fanedit could be better, in my opinion, is to make certain we NEVER actually see the aliens... but that would be an entirely different ending. Once again, the edits are flawless. A big improvement on the original.
