Dune 1984 - Part 1

Your reasoning makes complete sense.

Lynch's Dune is just one of THOSE movies.... some love, some hate.... it is just so eccentric, even with the most brilliant fan editing, if you are one of those who dislike it (like me lol), it is very difficult to make the source material enjoyable.

You have done a remarkable job! I gave your fan edit a solid 8 for entertainment value, while I would probably only give the original a 5 or 6.
