Downloading from MEGA without the wait

Here's how to quickly download large files from MEGA without waiting or subscribing:
  1. Use a VPN
  2. Use Chrome and add on the crappy MEGA browser extension
  3. Begin downloading the large file from MEGA
  4. When the download pauses itself you don't have to wait for hours to resume
  5. Copy the address of the browser (it will begin with "chrome-extension..."
  6. Change your IP on the VPN
  7. Copy the address into a new tab of the same browser window
  8. Close the old tab
  9. Resume downloading
  10. Rejoice
 
You can also use megadownloader and a vpn. Same concept, but you don't have to copy and paste links.
 
If that’s the official app from mega I was scared of it. So I guess it is no limits downloading then?
 
I think it's a third party program.
