Hi guys,

I've been working on and have more or less completed a chronological recut of the first deadpool film. Ive simply reordered the film, smoothed out the scene transitions and I've also reinserted the deleted and alternate scenes back in where appropriate. I'm calling this version the A to B to X cut.

When I ripped the deleted scenes, I noticed that they were lower quality than the movie so I have also done a version without them which I am calling the A to B cut.

Would anybody be willing to preview either versions before I submit them? If I get positive feedback and I don't need to tweak anything I'll get some artwork and maybe a trailer done to release with it.

Thanks everybody, looking forwards to sharing my work!

Sounds like a fun project. Much as I don't think the original film suffers from its flashback format, I'd be very interested to see how it plays chronologically. I'd be happy to preview either version, although I'd love a look at the extended cut.

As for the quality of the deleted scenes, what exactly is the problem you're having with quality? If it's SD footage trying to match up with HD, I've had good luck using Topaz Video Enhance AI to upscale, so that might be worth a look - there's a free thirty day trial that lets you use the fully featured software, so it's easy to test for one project to see if it fits your needs. If it's more of the grading and post-production processing, I'm sure someone here can offer some guidance there.

In any case, I'd love to see how this goes!

Thank you for the interest. I'll send you a pm. I have only used the deleted scenes that are complete they have a little pixelation and are lower resolution than the film as you'll see. I have tried the topaz trial but can't get it to work on my computer.

What is the runtime compared to the theatrical version? It says '107' on the official IFDb listing, but isn't this supposed to be an extended edition?

Originally it was just a chronological edit of deadpool which was shorter than the original version but then I reinserted the deleted scenes. So technically, it's an extended version of the chronological version. Both are available.
