Ok, here's the story: I just realized (and I don't know how I missed this last night) that the audio goes of sync around the last eight or so minutes of my RHPSEE. Now, I figured out the problem, but fixing it cause two more: either a black screen for a fraction of a second, or of-syncing the second half of the movie after once in a while. Again, I don't know how this happened. Anyone have anyideas of what may have happened?

did you use the latest version of womble? Did you use vobs or a muxed mpg? If it was an mpg, was it ac-3 audio or wave?

I believe I was, muxed (well, demuxed) mpg, ac-3 audio. All I can figure is that there was an error in ripping that I missed somehow. Easily enough, I know which segment is screwed up. I lost 12 frames someplace...now to find them...

Unexplainable sync problems are just part and parcel of DVD reediting.

Yep. GOnna re-rip. Good thing I took notes ^.^

I am getting sync errors more often if I keep working with ac-3 instead of wave.

I've never really had the problem. I found out what happened: 12 frames lost during file-splitting.

I had sync problems dealing with a muxed mpg. Never did solve it. If you are using Womble, maybe work directing from the vobs. That worked for me.

Or you could try shortening a few shots or trimming the audio to sync it back up. Don't know if that would be feasible...

I fixed it, no worries.

so there will be a new torrent link, I assume?

This does not work all the times. I have 1 particular making of video that I recorded with a DVD recorder and wanted to edit. But whatever I do, the audio was always out of synch. Really weird.
