Intention:
• Even though the film is very heavily reliant on just action, I wanted to see if I could minimise the conversation yet still keeping the same narrative.

Inspiration:
• The reason I thought of editing these films was because I had watched one of @"maniac" s edits Mr Wick and I really, really enjoyed it. As I had watched Crank so recently I was thinking what if I made a Mr Wick type edit of Crank.

• I tried using colour corrector by fading it in slowly until he hits the floor so the colour doesn't change as much when it transitions into the next film

• Trimmed Chev hi-jacking the car
• Removed him driving away
• Removed Chev attempting to steal a car

After just doing an audio check I've seen a few things that need work, so I've started my 2nd render.

Me and my family are going to watch it tonight and hopefully I get a few pointers to help me with the edit.

Me and my dad watched (most) of the edit last and he didn't realise any of the cuts i had made.

I also made a quick cover this morning for the edit but its not really good.

Quick question, If I have finished a edit and am also waiting for approval on another edit but I still wanna work on other edits on the site but I still want the other edit to be on IFDB is that still possible to get older edits on there.

So I've decided to have my first ever proper go at using Colour (color) corrector for an edit.

As the two films have quite different colouring I added a tint of white/blue and made the yellow more vibrant onto the transition from the 1st to the 2nd movie.

As this thread right now is a bit dry and dull, I'm gonna spice it up by posting a couple clips so you can get the gist of what I am trying to do with this edit.

Here I cut about a minute from the opening scene and I play with the Gaussian blur effect.
