Has anyone successfully made a 5.1 AC3 audio file with Compressor? I did a fanedit in FCP and am having trouble getting the five tracks to mix properly. I've tried exporting each channel as Dual Channel, Stereo and Mono and taken them into Compressor and assigning them to the appropriate channel (L, C, R, LS, RS). And every time it seems the LS and RS are ignored.

Any suggestions?

If it helps I'm on a Core i7 Hackintosh and not an official Mac. The sound card in my system is a standard stereo Realtek card. Could this be causing the problem? I thought that it shouldn't be a hardware problem as the mix should be software related.

I was a dumbass and had my receiver configured wrong. Disregard this post.
