cant rip Menu Music

trying to rip the music from the 'From Hell' menu using PGCDemux but when i play the ripped file its horrible quality; lots of clicks and clipping.

tried ripping direct from DVD and copying vobs to HDD but no difference there.

anyone got any ideas for alternate methods/applications?
 
since pgcdemux only copies what is on the dvd, the error supposedly is your player. Try downmixing the music with headac3he.
You can also open the audio with adobe audition (if you have that) by importing audio from video.
 
hmm both interesting alternative methods. what i did in the end (as the piece is only 40 seconds long) was use TotalRecorder to record it in real time and save it out as a wav.

works great :) or at least it did with the test compile i just ran.
 
if you still have issues let me know. I own the US 2 disc version and can take a swing at mine
