Sheer perfection!

This may be one of the BEST tv series finales I have ever watched!

Absolutely INCREDIBLE television. Wow!
 
So amazing this show was. Felina was a perfect game that clinched a World Series sweep, to make a baseball metaphor.
 
Just cemented this show as my fav of all time. Bravo to all involved in making it. Genius writing, acting, directing... Perfectly executed. How deeply satisfying. Sigh.

Well yeah, obviously, but I already did that before S5 P.1 started and again just before S5 P.2.

Give it another year or so...
 
Nice read, very surprised and happy to see him talking about the writing process so openly. Goddamn I love this guy.
 
Yeah, so I just finished the show, and I hate to sound like everyone else; but what an absolutely incredible piece of work. Actually, I don't care if I sound like everyone else. It's true.

Back when the show first premiered, I meant to watch it, but never ended up doing so. As the the show progressed, I felt like it would be tough to catch up. A couple of weeks ago (for a variety of reasons), I decided to start watching. At first I thought I'd just slowly make my way through it - but I had no idea that I'd be so consumed by the brilliance of it all that I'd spend 90% of my free time watching it. In the end, I didn't catch up, I didn't watch the finale live. But I never had to wait for an episode to air, just for my life to get out of the way. I don't think I can say I regret not having watched from the beginning. I managed to be able to watch the entire series without a break for any other material, and boy what a great experience that was. And I still got to be (more or less) there for the hype.

What a show.
