Literally hot off the press from Bat in the Sun - makers of Patient J, City of Scars, Seeds of Arkham and Super Power Beat Down

I thought CITY OF SCARS was the best Batman fan film ever, but Aaron has REALLY outdone himself here!

It's a professional production, like a live-action episode of Batman: The Animated Series, full of easter eggs

Kevin Porter IS Batman. Take your Snyder Cut and stick it ;)

Once again, Bat In The Sun hits a home run!!!

Seriously, this 25 minute film captures the breadth and width of the Batman character and mythos better than all of the Big Studio films combined.

Brilliant stuff!!! (y)

Wow, thank you for posting this, I'm not sure if I would've found it on my own. They did such a great job capturing the characters, even the ones shown for just a few seconds. I was really captivated, a very enjoyable fan film, I'll look into more of them, thank you!

Sadly, Aaron Schoenke has announced that this will be their last DC fan film. It's the end of an era.

Years ago, they did a two-part Batman fan film. The first half was called "Patient J", and the second half was called "City of Scars". It starred Kevin Porter (the same actor from "Dying is Easy") as Batman, but featured a different Joker actor named Paul Molnar.

Here's part 1:

And part 2:

And here's a little tie-in fan film they made:

They have also made other Batman fan films starring Kevin Porter, such as this one:

Since then, they've mostly made shorter videos, such as their "Waiting Room" series (in which superheroes talk to each other in a waiting room) and, most notably, their "Super Power Beat Down" series, which pits famous characters against each other.

Here are a few of the best (IMO) Super Power Beat Downs:

You might notice that Aaron Schoenke's Joker sounds different in some videos than others. That's because in some videos (like the "Joker & Harley Quinn vs. Deadpool & Domino" video), he's dubbed over by a voice actor, while in others (like "Dying is Easy" and "Joker vs. Negan") he does the voice himself. Also, sometimes the characters switch actors. For example, "Dying is Easy" and "Joker & Harley Quinn vs. Deadpool & Domino" feature Amy Johnston as Harley Quinn, while in "Joker vs. Negan", Harley is played by Tatiana Neva (who plays Catwoman in "Dying is Easy" and Domino in "Joker & Harley Quinn vs. Deadpool & Domino").

They also have made some goofy but fun dance-off videos, like these:

The core plot is good but I really hate this take on the Mad Hatter.
