We are currently working on the sequel. In the typical Noenaim Films fashion of writing and shooting cocurrently. One scene features a voice over the telephone, pretty small role. All you need is a microphone and to send me some files. So here is the script for the scene...(the role I need to cast here is Det. Youhouse)

INT. OSWALD CLOQUE'S SILVER SUNFIRE

Oswald dials his phone. It begins to ring and it picked up on
the other end.

RECEPTIONIST
Sherman Police Department, how may
I direct your call?

OSWALD
I am trying to reach Detective
Scott Youhouse.

RECEPTIONIST
Please hold.

Moments pass. The phone rings on the other end.

DETECTIVE YOUHOUSE
Youhouse here.

OSWALD
Yeah, it's me.

DETECTIVE YOUHOUSE
Mr. Cloque? how may I help you.

OSWALD
You can open my brother's case back
up.

DETECTIVE YOUHOUSE
*sighs* I am sorry, mister Cloque,
but the investigation had been
closed. I told you this already.

OSWALD
My brother is dead. He was killed,
and your entire department isn't
doing shit about it. You are
letting a murderer walk free!

DETECTIVE YOUHOUSE
Sir, there is no body. No proof at
all that your brother was killed.
We cannot continue a homocide
investigation under these
circumstances. I am sorry. Right
now it's simply a missing persons
case.

OSWALD
He's not missing, he's dead. I know
it. It was The Doctor.

DETECTIVE YOUHOUSE
I spoke to the Fredonia Police
Department, and there isn't any evidence that the serial killer
known as 'The Doctor' even exists.

OSWALD
You don't find it odd that eight
people have gone missing in this
town? Mostly out-of-towners?

DETECTIVE YOUHOUSE
It could be a coincidence. Like I
said, without any evidence, I
cannot pursue an investigation.

Pretty cheesy, eh? Anyway, let me know if anybody is interested.

to me this is one time even too much. :)

I HATE writing, so I usually just do it as fast as I can, and don't bother to revise or anything. I took out one of the evens, though.

LOL! KBM, you rock... I just love your humor (until I have heard your new podcast that is).

Hey, I figure, why go to the receptionist? He's bothered the cop before, so he's got his phone number.

Any sort of special accent this guy uses?

It should be performed in the style of Sam Spade.

EVERYTHING should be performed in the style of Sam Spade.

a flatfoot probably on the take and too busy dunkin donuts would never sound like sam spade. try Ward Bond.
If everyone sounds like Sam Spade, then nobody does.

Since I am from Upstate New York, yeah I am looking for a Midwest US accent so it's not a continuity issue.

As for editing, the receptionist, etc...I think it's better to have too much rather than too little. I can always edit it down in the editing room.

So is the film finished? and who ended up filling the roll?

I got a guy from another forum to voice the role. The movie is far from finished, though. It fell into development hell, sadly. My actor kept 'not feeling like it' when I tried to get him to shoot. Now his hair is totally different (different color, longer) as well. I told him I would disregard it, but he still seems to not be very into shooting. I am going to try pestering him about it more, though.

I might try to write some extra scenes to explain how different he looks. Or maybe not. As long as the thing gets finished, I don't know if I care. It's pretty B-movie, anyway...
