Any edits of Zack Snyder's Watchmen movie that add the squid so that it fits with the HBO show?

I've seen people make just a clip before but never incorporate it into a full edit.
 
I'd like to see this too. The HBO series is so good, and the movie is by far Snyder's best work.
 
I've done an edit of the HBO series into a Hooded Justice origin movie and own the Director's Cut bluray of the Snyder film so I theoretically would have the raw materials. I feel like most fans would love to see this but I'm not sure there's enough footage between the two. I've never been a fan of editing in other media (motion comic or animated) along with live action but that could certainly accomplish it. How did the clips you saw accomplish it?

Your edit is the exact reason I'm asking about this! I'm gonna show my sister the Hooded Justice movie and before that I wanted to show her an edit of the first movie that corrects the ending so that it works with it.

By the way, did you cut out the modern day squid rain scenes and the flashback squid disaster scenes in the hooded justice movie? I skimmed it but couldn't find them. If you really didn't use the flashbacks to the squid attack then you could reuse them in the 2009 movie and then have them connect without having overlapping.

Yeah, I actually skipped over all of that (as well as anything involving Dr. Manhattan or Ozymandias) since they didn't fit in with the story I was cutting it down to. Interesting though! I may have to play around with it at some point...

Glad you enjoyed the edit by the way! It's one of the projects I'm most proud of. I'll be submitting it here sometime this fall / winter.
