I've found & fixed a few errors in The Dream Master. Audio sync in one scene & extra frames at an edit point.
While I had it back on the operating table, I also slightly altered the truck crash.
You can grab the new version from the link you already have.
Sorry & Thanks!

UPDATES!
There have been a few updates to some of the films since I first released these. I thought it might be a good idea to keep note what's been changed.

The Dream Warriors- Fixed my production logo at the end. It now fades in correctly. (6/3/22)
The Dream Master- Fixed audio sync during a scene. Different edit during the car crash. Removed extra frames at an edit point. (6/3/22)
Freddy vs. Jason- Fixed audio issue during opening logos. Fixed audio issue during the "Jay Break". Corrected the volume of the end credit music. (6/12/22)
Soundtrack- Added the Jump Rope song to Epilogue [raymix]. (6/16/22)
Freddy vs. Jason- Fixed jittery color as opening shot fades in. New color correction during the Elm Street flashback. Adjusted color at Lorie's jump scare. (6/20/22)

If you've already got it, you can grab the updates from the link you already have.
Thanks!

A bump to let everybody know that any further changes/fixes made to these films will be listed at the bottom of the OP, so that I'm not bumping this thread every time.
You can check the date of your file against the date of the changes to see if you've got the latest versions.
Thanks!

Nothing drastic has been done to the narratives, but every film has been tightened up nicely, so the overall goal has been achieved. Freddy's revenge could have had more removed, a few home scene in the middle with the family at the breakfast table could have gone, especially now the dad's cut on his face isn't explained. Overall your changes make the series flow a lot better.

@Dantango
Thanks for the kind words!
I'm glad you enjoyed my edits of this series!

The only narrative I've really changed up is in The Dream Master. I've changed what the titular Dream Master is; from a dumb children's rhyme to Alice herself.
As for Freddy's Revenge, I disagree; every scene left in my edit drives either the story or characterization. Though, disagreeing with me is fine, of course.
I make my edits with nobody in mind but myself. This is a very selfish hobby of mine. : )

COMING SOON!

folder.jpg

No Nightmare collection is complete without this documentary, so I've made an edit that works along side the NoES [raymix] series.
This edit removes anything that was cut from my versions of the films, along with several other trims, some new color corrections & a few restored deleted sequences.
Editing is done. I've rendered it out into 8 separate chapters. I'll give it a watch over the next two days to check for errors & then I'll make it available.

My edit of the Never Sleep Again documentary is now available!
I've added all the info about it to the OP.
If you've already got the link to the series, you can find the doc in the xtras folder along with the soundtrack.
If you haven't got the link yet, no better time than now!

The documentary is now on the IFDb, marking the end of this project!
I've had a blast with this! All 6 films, the 8 part doc. & series-spanning soundtrack are all available now from one single link!
If you've already got the link to the films, you can use the link you already have.
If you don't already have the link, send me a PM!

This flows absolutely perfectly between the three main films, and I also LOVED the changes made to part 2, New Nightmare, and FvJ, the latter being my personal favorite of the three.

I don't understand why people always say about their edits "better", like... Isntead "this is my version", it's always "better", "I fixed"...

^^ I don't think there's a single post in this thread where Ray claims his edit is "better", but even if he did, why would it be bad to think that? He has a vision, and he's taken the time to realise it. From his subjective perspective, it would make sense if he considered it a better version. If he didn't, what would be the point in re-editing it? "fan-fix" is the name of the category of edit for a reason. And if you disagree and don't think an editor's version of a film is superior, that's just fine too.

NEW MUSIC VIDEO!
I've made a video for Wake Me Up by Foals, the track that plays over the end credits to my edit of The Dream Master.
This track fits the Elm Street series like a razor-fingered glove. I hope you'll enjoy the video! It was very fun to put together.
An uncompressed, aspect-corrected, HD version is included in the downloadable Extras.

All of my comparison images are gone, as the site hosting them has disappeared.
I've re-upped a comparison of my Freddy vs. Jason color alteration & added it to the FvJ changelist in the OP. (it's also been added to my F13 thread)
Check it out right here.
Truer black levels & the warmer colors make it feel like late summer/early fall instead of mid winter.
The more vibrant color pallet allows the film to fit in better with the rest of the NoES & F13 series.
