23 frame video in Womble?

I'm having problems importing video into Womble. Whenever I try to do so the video comes out as a black 23 frame long video. The Audio works fine but not the video. Any suggestions?
 
Is the original video 23 frames long? Are you perhaps referring to a frame rate of 23.976? Videos appear black in the preview window if they are not compatible with Womble.
 
The video I am imporing is the 2002 film Spider-man, so it's quite a bit longer than just 23 frames. This happens on some DVD's but not others.
 
Try running the video through Womble's GOP fixer. Make sure you have demuxed the video first.
