The behind the scenes for spectre really show off how much color work was done to this film...

Started watching Stranger Things again last night and now I'm thinking I'm going to drop the "previously on" approach. It seems very 90's when I think about it. Stranger things has abrupt endings and throws you right into the story on the next episode. This was the same for The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance. Maybe this is just me trying to convince myself that I'm not giving up on the previously idea, but I honestly think I like approach without it more. I noticed especially that the transition between Casino Royale and Quantum was somewhat ruined as it's pretty broadcasted that Bond has White with him (yes we already know that), but part of the pizzazz of the opening scene of Quantum was when White is revealed. Removing the previously on will restore that factore, imho. Ok, I think I've convinced myself. Now I just need to go and remove all of the "previously on moments". Thanks for bearing with me to those who have shown interest in the edit. :)

Well that's a wrap. 11 episodes of Daniel Craig's James Bond 007. The Spectre episodes are working their way to the cloud.

The amount of color correction I attempted in this one was daunting. I hope those who view it will like it and enjoy the experience and ability to chunk the story into episodes. As always, I learned a ton about what I need to get better at, color correction and closing on an idea, and wasted an inordinate amount of time on ideas that were ultimately thrown out  :rolleyes: but hopefully added to my bag of editing tricks for the future. Thank you to those who sent encouraging remarks along the way.

Thanks Malthus! The episodes vary in length. The OP has been updated with the episode lengths. I tried to hover around the 40-45 minute length, but some are +/- that figure due to natural breaks in the story.

That's great Dig! Congrats on finishing. I may have missed the time where you answered this question, but are you intending to complete the series with No Time to Die?

Yes. In a year or so when it's released I'll add it to the series. I know a lot of people didn't like the side plot of the connection in Spectre, but it is retained as I'm assuming it will be a plot point in that movie as well.

v1 is in iTunes equivalent MP4 files encoded at 6mbps and in 5.1. Each episode is between 1.2 and 1.9 gb in size. This was done for ease of access for those who prefer to stream. A v2 will be released in the future that will consist of 15mbps files.

Just a heads up, there are 2 scenes flashed during the very end of the credits of episode 4. I'll be setting a new render for that episode and upload it asap. The episode itself plays out fine, just the credits were effected for about 1-2 seconds.

Thanks for the update, Dig!
I'm currently through episode 5 of the series, and am currently greatly enjoying watching the films this way. I have to say, it's stunning how well their structure fits the TV format... it almost seems they were thought of that way!  :D

I wanted to point out one minor error in some of the actors in the credits. I understand this is largely unimportant, but having spotted it I thought it was worth pointing out.

Claudio Santamaria's name (ep. 1-3) is spelled Satamaria (without the N) in the credits;
Sébastien Foucan's name (ep. 1-3) should have an accent like this é on the first E which is absent in the credits;
Isaach de Bankolé (ep. 1-3) should have the "De" be spelled with a lower case "d";
Giancarlo Giannini's name (ep. 1-5) has an I instead of an L (it spells "Giancario" instead of "Giancarlo").

These are all the ones I've spotted so far.

Last but not least, I have to say this project of yours is really getting me pumped for No Time to Die!

Thanks Canon for finding those. I should have known not to trust IMDb on that De  :rolleyes:
Looks like age is finally catching up to my eyes. I'll start swapping those files out.

No worries. Another question I have is if it was a creative choice to have the actors’ credits appear according to movie and not according to episode.
For example: Claudio Santamaria plays the criminal at the airport and appears in episode 1, but he is also listed in the other Casino Royale episodes. If this was unintentional or not, I don’t know, but I can sure help if you were interested in getting in that world of minutiae :D

It was intentional. Some of the minor characters are hard to identify, his is different of course, but I tried to retain a hierarchy of appearances and then decided to retain for the the film episodes. Seeing that you pointed that out I'll make sure to address that in the v2 files. If you'd be willing to identify the individual secondary and tertiary characters in each episode I"ll definitely make those changes. Keep in mind that they follow the off beat of the theme so it is limited to how many names can be included.

Oh, absolutely. I’ll gladly do that for episodes 1-5 right now and for the rest as I watch them.

Episode 1: Ellipsis
Daniel Craig
Mads Mikkelsen
Judi Dench
Jesper Christensen - Mr. White
Ivana Miličević - Le Chiffre's girlfriend
Caterina Murino - Dimitrios' girlfriend
Simon Abkarian - Dimitrios
Isaach de Bankolé - Côte d'Ivoire group head criminal
Tobias Menzies - M's aide
Sébastien Foucan - Bomber in Madagascar
Claudio Santamaria - Bomber at the Airport

Episode 2: Casino Royale
Daniel Craig
Eva Green
Mads Mikkelsen
Judi Dench
Ivana Miličević
Isaach de Bankolé
Jeffrey Wright - Felix Leiter
Giancarlo Giannini - Mathis
Tobias Menzies - M's aide

Episode 3: Vesper
Daniel Craig
Eva Green
Mads Mikkelsen
Judi Dench
Ivana Miličević
Jeffrey Wright
Giancarlo Giannini
Jesper Christensen

Episode 4: Point of Deception
Daniel Craig
Olga Kurylenko
Mathieu Amalric
Judi Dench
Jesper Christensen
Anatole Taubman - Greene's second-in-command
Jeffrey Wright
David Harbour - CIA head contact
Rory Kinnear - M's second-in-command
Joaquín Cosío (two accents on the Is missing in V1.0 credits) - General Medrano
Glenn Foster - M's bodyguard and double agent in Siena
Paul Ritter - Guy Haines, the agent who makes the rooftop fall

Episode 5: Quantum of Solace
Daniel Craig
Olga Kurylenko
Mathieu Amalric
Judi Dench
Anatole Taubman
Jeffrey Wright
David Harbour
Rory Kinnear
Giancarlo Giannini - Mathis
Gemma Arterton - Strawberry Fields
Joaquín Cosío - General Medrano
Lucrezia Lante della Rovere - Mathis' girlfriend
Fernando Guillén Cuervo - Mathis' contact in Bolivia
Tim Pigott-Smith - British Secretary of Foreign Affairs and Commonwealth

And here it is for the first 5 episodes. I've put them in an order which resembles the one in which they would go in an official product as closely as possible, based on importance of character and prominence in the episode. The spelling is correct and checked so you can simply copy and paste that into the v2.0 credits. I'll be sure to make one for the following episodes as we go along. I've also added the roles of the minor characters or the ones which are identified with more difficulty, so that you can decide wether or not to keep the very very minor ones.

The credits currently include 6 cards for actors that attempt to follow the following format.
1= Daniel Craig
2= Most prominent and/or famous support 1 & 2 (female lead and villain)
3= Most prominent and/or famous support 3 & 4 (M and secondary villain)
4= 3-4 supporting (supporting MI6 and supporting villains)
5= 5-6 supporting (minor supporting roles)
6= 6 supporting (minor supporting roles)
Would you be able to put them in that format?

Absolutely. I’ll do that tomorrow if you don’t mind. In cases where M is more prominent than the (perhaps absent) female lead (eg. Episode 1) I would bring Dench forward and another secondary character take her place. Would that be okay? Or would you prefer to have the female “lead” for that episode take Eva Green’s place? (I hope I was clear)

If an actor/actress appears in the episode, I'm personally inclined to keep them in the same grouping/placement in the credits.
