Just a quick review, I enjoyed this immensely, I've seen scott pilgrim several times, with two extended edits on top of that, so logically it makes sense that this time I'd opt for a shorter cut. I really liked the way this was carried out, skipping all the story to get to the fights with a little bit of this and that in between, the storyboard stills from the video game helped to flesh things out. Like others have said the transitions sometimes seemed a bit... forced or abrupt and noticeable, but as this is one of those edits where the intention is not to make a better film, I am willing to overlook the obvious. Its a faster paced sott pilgrim with more of a video game feel, that said I liked the inclusion of the other characters endings from the game, and the use of the game's soundtrack in the end credits. very nice effort.
