So was the news. ;)

I'd say remove it from the front page, because downloading it without authorization is still piracy, even if they took the locks off the doors.

That's why it's got an UPDATE notice, in bold no less. Plus, it doesn't link to any unauthorized site, nor can you download it illegally from Adobe. You need a valid serial number so, while the article is no longer accurate, it stays.

You "need" a serial number based on the honor system. The downloads are available right here, as are the serials.

***link removed by moderator***

It would be illegal to download from them if you don't own a license but they are not doing anything to stop you.

Link removed. If you are so concerned about this, why would you provide the link?

And this whole business of fanediting we do relies on the honor system, so I still don't see what the problem is.

You seriously removed the link provided IN The forbes article you guys posted, to adobes official download? That seems quite quite silly.

If fanedit.org is based on the honor system why would you remove the adobe approved link?

It shouldn't be front page news on this site. It is only for people who already own CS2. The headline is blatantly wrong, and the update makes the topic unclear. Why not just include the sentence "as long as you already own CS2."

Are you done yet?

maybe if you put the link back that is allowed on your front page but not in my post.

That link is not on the front page, and this discussion is pointless. Send a PM to an admin if you can't deal with it.

the link is the last sentence of the forbes article that is front and center of your front page.

Oh for fuck's sake. Thread closed.
