I don't think this one has been discussed here. No subs so far, though:


It has a really bad IMDb rating but with only 6 votes, which are likely due to the usual fanboy effect of giving bad ratings to different versions than the popular one they like.

^ Perfectly understandable. There's only so many times you can build subtitles for The Hobbit translating from a language you don't speak. :p

I just found out about this one earlier today on another website (following the discovery of a 1979 BBC version).

On second thought, it must've only been added to the IMDB a few days ago. There aren't even any discussions on its board.
And I understand someone on CG is working on subtitles (serious subtitles this time, not the joke ones that are on youtube).
