  • Angel does not go to Somerfields' and accuse Simon Skinner of the

  • Extended fence jump scene.[/*:m:joa4k8xd]
  • Also cut some unfunny jokes & unnecessary lines.[/*:m:joa4k8xd]
  • Some scenes were trimmed.[/*:m:joa4k8xd]
  • Credits heavily edited, "Solid Gold Easy Action" song removed.[/*:m:joa4k8xd]
Your intention for this fanedit: HOT FUZZ was too long. So I felt I should cut it down to a more leaner, somewhat faster-paced and funner film.

dts??? No good. 50% of all DVD players cannot play that.

I will be providing an alternate dolby and stereo sountrack as listed above.

ah, ok... then it's good.

really looking forward to this.

i LIKED this movie, but it was a tad unfunny at times - it looks like you had the same idea! :)

it sounds like this edit will be great

oh and before I forget:
this needs to be approved, guys, so PLEASE, comment on it.

I hope you at least keep the priest's last line before he's shot! lol

I did. :) I loved it - and all of his lines in that scene.

The iPod version is now on RapidShare!

Please note that I won't be able to release anything else except this iPod version for a while, so please tell me what you think.

EDIT: Further note, I should be able to encode this in the next few weeks. I'll keep everyone posted.

Sounds interesting, though I love the editing and story of the original. But, if you do put out a DVD-R edition, I'll give it a whirl.

Currently authoring the DVD. I'm encoding the video atm.

THE FUZZY DVDs

Single Layer
  • Audio: Stereo[/*:m:30zy6emw]
  • Special Features: None[/*:m:30zy6emw]

Sorry, but I don't want to have to re-encode the video again.

Dual Layer
  • Audio: Dolby Digital 5.1, DTS Digital Surround 5.1, Stereo[/*:m:30zy6emw]
  • Special Features: The Complete Plot Holes, Commentary, Fan Edit Teaser Trailer[/*:m:30zy6emw]

The Complete Plot Holes are the original plot holes features plus several other overlooked featurettes on Disc 2.

will the 5.1 fit on the single layer instead of the stereo? if so i'd pick that - dvd players will downmix it if need be.

it seems like a 103 min movie should be able to fit all the audio on there.

but regardless, i have a feeling i'm going to really enjoy this.

I have a nasty feeling that the 5.1 won't fit on the SL version, but I'll try to author the DVD and see what happens.

Yes, I would like to see a SL disc with the 5.1 audio layer instead of just stereo. But, if you can't make it happen, no worries. When will the SL be available for download?

I'm doing the menus on the DL one atm, and I'll do the SL one when I've done. This might take a while, I want to get the DVD as good as I can.
