Movies So Bad They Are Good

Buford's Beach Bunnies

Watch this movie and you'll see where Tom Hanks got most of the character for Forrest Gump from!

Not sure if you're aware but Forrest Gump is actually based on a 1986 novel by Winston Groom, Tom Hanks had nothing to do with the way the character of Forrest Gump is.

Dude, of course I knew that. But as far as how Hanks portrays the character, the looks he gives, etc. Watch Buford's Beach Bunnies.

Tom Hanks learned how to act from Birdemic.

That's right, [Jim Hanks,] the little brother of Tom Hanks starred in a low-budget sex-romp.

Rumor has it, some of Forrest Gump's mannerisms were based on Jim's role in Buford's Beach Bunnies. I'd like to say I was joking, but look it up.

In 1995, “A Current Affair” did a cover story on how Tom Hanks’ portrayal of Forrest Gump seemed to have derived itself from Jim’s (Tom’s brother) 1992 portrayal of Jeeter – both similiar type characters.

-The Room of course. Tommy Wissaeu is the Nirvana of bad acting. One of a kind.
-Kung Pow: Enter the Fist. That movie is pure GENIUS. Basically a youtube parody with a budget. Never laughed that hard in my whole life.
-Battlefield Earth. Stupid, stuuuuuuuuuuuuuupid movie, but quite fun. Travolta's over the top performance is so enjoyable
-Birdemic also
Probably more that i can't remember....
And lets not forget this Genius:

^I seem to remember enjoying it.

Here's another one to add to the list.

And I can't leave out Monsturd

or its sequel Retardead

Rectuma is also another great one.

Both Monsturd and Retardead are available for free on YouTube.

Not sure this counts - as it's a parody and very good. It'd be like saying Airplane is so bad it's good.

Now, Dinocroc vs Supergator.....:D

Brock Landers: Angels Live in My Town

I hear Kevin Smith's Red State is on par with The Room and Birdemic.

Meet the Feebles.
i felt dirty watching it but i finally "got it" a couple hours and a couple showers later.

That's not even a movie, just a movie within a movie from Boogie Nights.

I haven't seen The Room or Birdemic but Red State was really good.

I would like to add...

Stab 5
Simple Jack
A Fistful of Yen
Chubby Rain
Home For Thanksgiving (AKA Home For Purim)

Waynes world
Mystery men
Bill and ted
House of the dead 2

Thats off the top of my head

They are classics but and i love them both but they are by no means great movies. They were sp cheesetasic they became epic.

Excellent adventure feels like your typical 1980's teen comedy. Bogus Journey just seems like a different film in tone. I've still got the (even weirder) paperback collecting the issues of the comic set after the 2nd movie.

Also I don't think Waynes world is a Bad movie, it seems to get funnier with each passing year and maybe more relevant.

My contributions: The Last Dragon, I mean the hero is a black guy called Bruce Leeroy. Finishing the game, which I think did a decent parody of showing why the studios could never get The Game of death Finished.

And No Holds Barred, I watched this with my friend the other week, I wondered if there could be anything worse than Hulk Hogan doing push ups in his pink salmon coloured briefs.... then we get that news of his leaked sex tape
