It's a trick! The coconut doesn't way 5 pounds, it costs 5 pounds because it's purchased from the UK! And the bird is actually a bird Pokémon, on the verge of evolving, and once it does evolve, it will then be strong enough to lift anything! Well, not everything, but it can lift a coconut.
Long story short, no, but let it gain another level or two, and it'll grow strong enough. Or something. I don't know.
