Brief Synopsis:
To make Hayley appear a cold, calculative “murderer” of sorts. Now that we see the first meeting hand-in-hand with the happenings in Jeff’s house, we see how planned she must have been with her execution as far as the plan goes. Also, it’s rather interesting to view it with this contrast.

Editing Details:
The edit is only an avi. What did I do with this edit? I re-arranged it, duh. First, we get the studio logos. Then the first chat between Jeff and Hayley. Then the credits roll, after which the movie starts with Jeff waking up after Hayley initially drugged him. Now, throughout the rest of the film, we get flashbacks to what happened in their initial meeting.
