ST - Star Trek

Today -- MARCH 22nd --

HAPPY BIRTHDAY WILLIAM SHATNER!!!!!!!!! :whoo:

Today -- March 26th...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LEONARD NIMOY!!!!

Oh hey, that's interesting. This week my school's doing an exhibition of Nimoy's art. Tomorrow I'm going to go and there's going to be a reception where he'll Skype-in for an interview or something.

Happy belated birthday Shatner. And Happy Birthday Nimoy. That's really awesome. And that's awesome to get to go and see some of his art. Really cool.

All these pictures required posting, albeit for wildly varying reasons:

Anyone else been holding off on the TOS Blu-Rays? Amazon's got a pretty sweet deal right now. All three seasons for sixty bucks. That's less than a single TNG Blu-Ray season. Ends June 8.

A new farragut episode? WHaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?????

After pissing off Trek fans everywhere with their stupid retailers exclusives of the INTO DARKNESS dvd last year, Paramount has announced they will be releasing a new a dvd this September. Featuring both nuTrek films and ALL the bonus content collected together (included deleted scenes!!) and some new stuff too. It also sound like you may be able to bring your previous Into Darkness dvd back for some sort of discount/rebate.

Now if only they would announce the release of the Director's Editions on Blu-ray (including remastering TFF) for the 50th Anniversary...

Awesome! Good thing I decided to hold off on picking it up. I only wish they'd release it on its own instead of in a 2-pack. No need to double-dip on the first film if they're not adding any new extras.

bionicbob, Hi! I just wanna say man, that your edits of the original ST films are Epic. Truly epic. Thanks very much for them :)

STAR TREK RULES!!!

Glad I haven't bought either of the new Star Trek films yet, will definitely pick this up for 20-30 bucks.

Weird Al Yankovic:

You know what, I was very close to doing a parody called "Make It So" about Star Trek: The Next Generation… but then I checked online, and of course, somebody had done that already. And apparently it had gotten enough attention online to make the Disney legal department ask them to take it down! I couldn't think of an idea that I liked as much as "Make It So," so… I gave up!
