ST - Star Trek

Sorry about the crappy job with the censoring. I don't have Photoshop so I had to use MS Paint.

Please remember this is a PG-13 forum and put anything borderline in spoiler tags.

Must. Find. Original.

My apologies. I thought my lame attempt at censoring her exposed breasts was enough to bring it to a PG-13 level. After all this is just a side view and no other part of her sexual anatomy can be seen. Good thing I didn't some of the other pics from that set.

What a great collection. The one of Patrick Stewart is especially interesting. He must have been quite young -- late teens, I'm guessing, from what I've heard about how early he went bald. Never seen his real hair before, though (oddly enough) when he played Claudius to Derek Jacobi's Hamlet, he wore a very curly wig with a bald spot.

And, for those who are about to warn me against hijacking this thread: I'm on topic. In this Hamlet production from 1980, Ophelia was played by Lalla Ward, who was at the time a regular in Doctor Who. Stewart teased her about this fact, saying that he wouldn't be caught dead doing science fiction. :p

That's interesting. Stewart has hair in I Claudius and I always thought that it was his own, but perhaps I was wrong and it was a wig.

The shot of DeForrest Kelley struck me the most. He really looks young there.

And isn't that Derek Jacobi, aka second last to play the Master on Doctor Who? I wonder if he ever said the same thing? ;)

TNG S1 blu-ray goes public July 24; Entertainment Weekly has a high-def clip:

http://insidetv.ew.com/2012/04/30/star-trek-tng-blu-ray-season-1/

It's spectacular, yes, but anyone else think this looks just a bit... off? I remember the somewhat-soft visuals of TNG fondly.

But, maybe I'd get used to the HD and embrace it over time. Too soon to say...

Not me. I'll be more than glad to leave those disgustingly bad video-mastered DVDs behind forever. I bought the TNG sampler and it is beautiful. :)

This absolutely happened and no doctored alternative photos of a plain ol' sword will ever convince me otherwise. :p
