STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS

Is this the title of the next Trek movie?
Maybe.
Paramount has been busy registering/securing website domain rights with this name.
So far, no confirmation from the Abrams camp.
 
It's basically been confirmed by this point. I like it, as it goes against the typical Trek title which I felt was needed for this new series. Hopefully its actually based somewhat on Heart of Darkness, as I've always thought that would be good source for Trek to tackle properly.
 
Using the words star trek as part of a sentence seems a little silly to me (like they're trying too hard to tap into the Nolan Batman style of naming) but it doesn't really matter as I'll just be calling it ST12 anyway. :)
