I am very new to fan edits but I felt so strongly about this mini series I had to post.

Anyone familiar with season 6 will know that the island story is interlaced with 'flash sideways'. These flashes are of a purgatory place between this life and the next where our beloved characters have to find each other to move on. A lot of the scenes lack pace and you often want to get back to the island as quick as possible but it is well executed on the most part and the sideways climax pays off.

However, the whole story of Lost is 'what is happening to our characters' and 'how did they get here'. Season 6 is such a riveting story that, i would say, is one of the better seasons. It is spoiled incredibly by these flashes. I understand you have a sci fi audience and a drama audience to please but there is enough drama on the island. Why do we want to know what happens after the characters are dead, the island story carries itself incredibly well.

You can understand how I was overwhelmed by this cut and would recommend it to anyone that is an avid fan of lost. The restructuring of the scenes and the flashbacks of jacobs and richards history feel like they were supposed to be. Very very well done.
