Hello, there!

For a long time, Lost in Space has been not only one of my favorite movie scores, it's probably what got me into movie scores in the first place. Both albums that were released (TVT and Intrada) pretty much disappointed me; though they both have their perks, they both have cons as well. I've created a complete score out of the best elements from both albums as well as the DVD's unraveled 5.1 audio track. The isolated score segments from the Special Effects Documentary and Director's Commentary were also helpful in making this. I've uploaded a sample of my complete score to youtube:

As you can see, this is a pretty patchy job. What would really be a holy grail for me is an Isolated Score. I think this can happen, but I can't do it by myself.

My plan is to take a stereo file of the fLfR channels (and maybe even another file for the surrounds), upconvert each of them to 5-channel, discarding the center (this should take care of a lot of the sound effects and voice echo that is shared between the two channels), and use the best-sounding stereo file (fronts or rears) for the Isolated Score. I am aware that this will probably result in some sort of quality loss, and there will undoubtedly still be a few sound effects remaining. I've tried to do this myself, but I can't seem to get the program to work without crashing. Can anyone recommend a 5.1 upconversion program that doesn't use as much RAM as Graph Studio? Failing that, I'd gladly send the files through a filesharing website to anyone who can do it.
