Doctor Who - Shada the BBCi Webcast

The Doctor has a spot of unfinished business. Reunited with his old friends
Romana and K9, he answers a summons from Professor Chronotis, a retired Time
Lord now living the academic life in a Cambridge college.

But the Doctor isn't the only visitor to Cambridge. Somewhere in the city is the
sinister alien Skagra, who is intent on stealing an ancient and mysterious book
brought to Earth by the Professor many years before.

What is Skagra's diabolical master plan? And who or what is the mysterious
Shada? To discover the truth, the Doctor and his companions must embark on a
perilous journey that will take them from the cloisters of Cambridge to the
farthest reaches of deep space, risking deadly encounters with a sentient
spaceship, the monstrous Krargs, and an ancient Time Lord criminal call
Salyavin. As the Doctor soon discovers, the fate of the universe hangs in the
balance.

I never grabbed this, so unfortunately I cant be of much help.

On a side note... I did notice that there were 2 other animated miniseries. To my knowledge Angrysvn only did the Shada series. If anyone wants to tackle the entire project, I'd be more than happy to share what I learned about SWF to DVD from when I worked on A Flash of Spoofs.

I checked a couple yesterday, and they are still up. Dont know if they all are. I might try to save them all now if they are, in case someone wants to work on this sometime.

nonsense!!! They may have been down at one point, but trust me, they are very much online now. So far I have saved and organized all the Scream of Shalka videos, I am about halfway through Shada, and then I will do Real Time. I'll upload them in one file when I am done

you dont want the real player videos. those are tiny and super-lossy. Play the Flash files. They are true SWF files with vectors embedded. I can upload the lot when I am done.

BTW, all of the bonus stuff is all real video. super-tiny, super-crappy quality. I am not even bothering with those.

bummer. And the Flash files for the other one dont seem to download properly. Its pissing me off. I know they are there, they play fine on the site. Whats the quality like on the DVD you have for Scream of Shalka? did they do a good job of converting and editing?

well, thats good. It appears that its some sort of protection issues on the flash files. because when i import them into Flash Pro it works fine. but they wont play on their own
