I'd kill for a John Frankenheimer-helmed Watchmen, but the cast is all off. Paul Newman is much more Ozymandias than Dr. Manhattan, and Lenny Bruce WTF? Stacy Keach FTW!

As fot the others, I totally love the Ghostbusters concept, and have imagined Tim Curry as the Joker quite frequently.

And then this one. Rourke as Supes - not in a million years. However, I think all of us who grew up with Byrne's (and posterior) Corporate Lex Luthor have always imagined an Apocalypse Now era Brando as the PERFECT choice for the role. I know I have.

Yeah, interesting that they cast him as Supes' dad instead... could be something to that.  Anyway, an early '70s choice for Supes?  Would it have had to be a virtual unknown like Chris Reeves?  Or maybe Gregory Peck?  Paul Newman?
