OMG. Finally get to actually hear Chris Farley as Shrek in a scene with Donkey (Eddie Murphy).

Oh my god how long I have waited for this. I never thought I would ever get to hear it. Its so sad hearing his voice :(, yet refreshing to see how they originally envisioned Shrek.
I wish someone from Dreamworks would be able to animate a scene or two based on the original design and Farley's takes.

I read that Chris had already completed a lot of his dialogue, and that they considered bringing in an impressionist to fill in the gaps. They should have gone ahead with the project, I think it would have been a great tribute to him. Of course we would have never got Mike Myer's intepretation and prolly would have associated his scottish accent with Fat Bastard only, but it looks like his character and story had a lot of heart.

I had heard the same (that it was almost all done). I assumed, perhaps cynically, that he was replaced so that they could make sequels if it hit. Which was a great financial decision but once he was replaced I assumed we'd never see the original.

Nicolas Winding Refn directed one of the Miss Marple TV movies between 'Bronson' and 'Valhalla Rising' ?!?!

Somebody should get the Blu-Ray and rescore it with Cliff Martinez :p.

Branded-to-Kill-e1409775963953.jpg

I don't know if there is some list of bizarro DVD extras but...

I got my copy of the 1967 Japanese movie 'Branded To Kill' (On Arrow Video) and discovered it had a full-length porno remake of the movie called 'Trapped In Lust' amongst the bonus material :-D.

The original isn't axactly short on nudity by the way and features some amazing black and white images/camera-work.

Cool stuff! I always enjoy the bookended stuff (Lynch is great at this visually and thematically).

Any thoughts on Bone Tomahawk? The Kurt Russell cannibal horror/wild west movie that could possibly be the greatest thing ever?
