killbillme Wrote:why isn't The Lord of the Ring part of this list?... 3 films... an academy award... probably clocking at 12 hours long... the struggle between the forces of good and the minions of evil...

Lucy, you got a lot of explaining to do.

Lord of the Rings is defintely one of my favorite movies but im talking about Greeks, Romans, and Spartans.

Yeah, this is just classic and medieval epics.
I am a bit disappointed that my history on fanedit.org is nowhere mentioned anymore. It was 5 years of my life.

you probably should keep it narrowed down to that.... otherwise there are an awfully lot of medieval movies that you'll have to include.... probably shouldn't even include kingdom of heaven... though it is certainly one of my favs.
http://www.astrophe.com - my own indie films.

Finished Projects: Wing Commander: Countdown to Invasion, STAR WARS: RISE OF THE EMPIRE ... all 3 prequels - one 4-hour film.
Coming Soon: You Keep what You Kill: A Chronicles of Riddick Fanedit

yeah, there is a long time between the other clasics and KoH.
but there also is a long time between Alexander and The Fall Of The Roman Empire (about 1000 years, if I am correct)

I'm surprised Gladiator wasn't higher on the list.

I don't think there is a special order to that list.

Kingdom of Heaven, assuming we all mean the director's cut, by far my favourite.

Lots to choose from. can't wait to see the Alexander revised edition, might alter things (unlikely though)
