Okay, so Subway has these collectible Star Wars: The Force Awakens collectible cups, or glasses if you live in Europe, and I'm wondering why there's no Poe Dameron or Han Solo cups/glasses? There's six cups/glasses and they feature, in chronological order, First Order Stormtrooper, Rey, Kylo Ren, Finn, Chewbacca, BB-8. Why is there a First Order Stormtrooper cup/glass but no Poe Dameron? He's a new character, and an important one too. Shouldn't he have his own cup/glass instead of a faceless Stormtrooper? And what about Han Solo? Shouldn't he have his own cup/glass as well? Or at the very least share Chewbacca's? Where's the love for Poe and Han? :( And why did we in North America get cheap plastic cups while Europe, at least parts of Europe, get ceramic glasses? The designs are the same, but the glasses just look so much better.

- Poe Dameron is still not an iconic character for the masses and have little screentime in TFA. Stormtroopers are more iconic than him for example. Kids and family loves BB8 and Chewie, young adults like the look of Kylo Ren, Rey and Finn are the main protagonists of the movie and maybe Harrison Ford put something in his contract against that sort of things.

No exceptions. Violators will be fined. This prohibition has no expiration point. Thank you, good night, and may the Giant Spaghetti Monster season us all.

we can agree on this. I saw some party in a restaurant and they had a balloon that said "Keep Calm and Happy Birthday" I wanted to walk over and stab it with my fork.

you know, i had similar confusion back in the day when the "faces" series of the original trilogy was released on LD/VHS. there was Vader and Yoda and . . . a Stormtrooper? and that's for Empire. how many other characters could they have used for the "face" of that movie. weird choice.

He may not be iconic yet, but he's an important character in the film. And the new series I'm assuming. I've seen some Poe Dameron action figures, Pop Vinyl figures and Wacky Wobblers in stores, so why couldn't Subway give him his own cup/glass? I agree, stormtroopers are an iconic part of the Star Wars universe, but if they're trying to promote the new characters why overlook one that plays an important part in the film? And possibly the new series? There's even some Captain Phasma merchandise out there and she's only in three scenes. Honestly, as much as I love Chewie, I would have preferred a Captain Phasma cup/glass instead.

Just noticed that the women in these conan paintings have the almost the exact same pose, maybe Frazetta was paying homage to Brundage?

I just assumed he's a pervert.

Is Brundage some sort of formal bondage thing?

I meant to type bondage but in a series of random events my fingers slipped unbeknownst to myself and typed something related to my post, but you'll never see me make that mistake again. Never.

The Martian Blu-Ray looks like it kinda sucks :-(. No Ridley Scott commentary, no deleted scenes, no 3-hour documentary :p. I think I'll wait, save my money and cross my fingers, for a better release later in the year.

I suppose...but the in-character featurettes are gold.

Walking home from work yesterday (this is in East London), and this was my thought process:

Ooh, look, a film crew.
Why is that person standing in my way between me and the film crew like a lemon?
She looks like she's waiting for something.
Is that Maisie Williams?
"ACTION"
Oh f@&k, hope I'm not in shot!! Run away....

Fun times. And yes, it was her.

Not the TARDIS, but a TARDIS might have been, her chameleon circuit was working fine last we saw her :)

So a Japanese satellite called the Hitomi went missing earlier this week. Now it's returned, just as mysteriously, but Japan still doesn't have it under control.

This is a real thing that happened. It's a truly fascinating scientific mystery ...

...and all I can do is sigh mournfully and think, "Well, there's the plot for Transformers 5."

My legal team shall be contacting Disney's team forthwith.

By the way, WTF is up with this film being renamed 'Zootropolis' in Europe... it's not even a pun! Nevermind the logic of going to the expense of redubbing the entire movie?!?!

I mean, Disney's is pretty edgy next to your bubble gum poster. :p

Regarding the name, I remember reading that they had to do it because someone owned the copyright in Europe. Maybe an animal park or store, something like that.
